(Web Desk): The bail plea of popular Pakistani YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, known as Ducky Bhai, was heard in the Sessions Court on Thursday, in which the judge reserved the verdict after listening to arguments from both sides.

The case revolves around allegations of promoting illegal online gambling applications. During the proceedings, Ducky Bhai’s legal counsel presented detailed arguments, insisting that the accusations were baseless and politically motivated. Meanwhile, the lawyer representing the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) opposed the plea, citing what he termed “strong evidence” linking the influencer to illicit activities. Following the exchange, the court reserved its verdict, which will be announced later.

On August 17, Ducky Bhai was arrested at Lahore airport while he was trying to go abroad. His name was already included in the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL), which restricted his departure. He was later turned over to the NCCIA on a two-day physical remand, with investigators directed to present a detailed report during the next hearing.

The NCCIA, in accordance with its findings, reported that an FIR was lodged after officials allegedly found clues of illegal financial transactions connected to betting apps. The agency alleged that Ducky Bhai promoted apps like Binomo and was also suspected of money laundering practices. Authorities also said that information from his mobile phone included suspicious WhatsApp contacts and evidence of suspicious payments.

The agency further accused the YouTuber of cheating the public through advertising content and trying to flee the country when caught. The case has caused a lot of heat, with Ducky Bhai being a favorite among Pakistan s online community. The court s ruling regarding his bail is likely to have far-reaching consequences for both the influencer and society as a whole.
